Follow the opening quests before trying to unlock everything at once. Loftia introduces gathering, your home, crafting, gardening, and Adventures in stages; finishing the current objective is usually the most useful next step.

Start with Milo and the nearby materials

Meet Milo and follow the starter gathering objectives. The opening route introduces screws, plastic discards, scrap wire, and clay. Look around the gathering areas the quest points you toward, and check the active objective before making a second trip. These materials feed into the tools and stations you are about to make.

You do not need a complete collection of every resource before moving on. Keeping the current task visible helps distinguish something you actually need now from a material that will matter later. The construction area and solar farm are useful landmarks to learn as the opening quests send you between them.

Settle in and learn the crafting loop

When the story sends you to your neighborhood, find your home and place the furniture and Project Station you receive. Your home is more than decoration: the Project Station is where the early crafting tasks come together. Use the decoration controls to place it somewhere you can reach easily.

Crafting uses your battery. If a station will not complete the next task, check its energy requirements as well as the ingredients. The opening walkthrough introduces recharging at the solar panel near your home. Make charging part of a trip home rather than gathering more ingredients for a recipe whose actual blocker is energy.

The first hammer lets you salvage objects that were out of reach before. Bigger breakables can require a better tool, so an object refusing your starter hammer is not automatically a bug.

Let Hazel introduce your first garden

Hazel's tasks teach the sequence of placing a garden bed, selecting seeds, watering, and harvesting. Follow those objectives in order. A garden bed, the seeds you plant in it, and a watering can are separate parts of the process.

If you cannot find seeds you have just been given, check the tool wheel before assuming they are missing. See our seeds and planting guide for that specific problem. Once crops are ready, the quest can also ask you to ship them; growing something and completing its delivery objective are different steps.

Learn cooking and permits before expanding

Kun introduces cooking during the opening progression. Place the required station, read the recipe, and check what the objective asks you to deliver. Gathering the ingredients alone does not finish a cooking task.

Amani introduces permits, which govern how many of certain objects you can place. If the next building task seems blocked, check both the crafting recipe and the relevant placement limit. Buying an upgrade and placing the actual object are separate actions. Spend according to the next quest rather than trying to expand every limit immediately.

Follow Cliff and Ryder toward Adventures

The next part of the route brings in Cliff, refining, and Ryder's Adventures. Refining turns gathered resources into materials needed for later equipment. Follow the recipe shown in your current game rather than relying on an old demo shopping list.

Ryder's introduction asks for Scrambled Coordinates. They are resource-gathering drops, not three guaranteed objects sitting at fixed map pins. Our Scrambled Coordinates guide explains the prerequisite and why repeating a gathering loop can be more useful than searching one marked spot.
